The Austrian Exlibris Society (ÖEG)

was founded in 1903 and continues to this day to have as its goal

the maintaining and developing awareness for the Exlibris

as a cultural and collectible artform.

The Austrian Exlibris Society keeps its members regularly informed

about the world of Exlibris through its regularly published periodical,

"MITTEILUNGEN", and also issues every two years a Yearbook,

which contains essays and articles pertaining to the cultural history

of bookplates, commercial art, and small format graphics in general.
